Confessions of a Second Life land baron.

I’ve had the idea for this blog for ages, but now that I’m working on a how-too project about the Second Life land business I figure I might as well get a blog going too.

I’ve imported some posts from my old blog, by way of historical interest.  Some of them had to do with our Second Life land business.  Most of them didn’t.

Who am I?

I’m Lizard Howl, and I’m a Second Life land dealer.  I sell fake land for real money.  It’s what I do for a living.  My wife and I started this business in September 2007.  It took us about 6 months to get it in profit, but ever since then it has put money in my pocket every month.  Some months more than others.

We are fairly successful at this by any means.  We aren’t huge like Anshe Chung or the other “top five” land dealers but I figure we are in the top 100 largest Estates in Second Life.  Maybe the top 50.  Something like that.

The point isn’t how large we are, its that we aren’t newbies.  We are in our 5th year in business, we know what we are doing.

I’m working on a complete How To project that I hope to publish within a few months.  In it I will detail all the ins-and-outs of the Second Life land business.  The good, the bad, and the not so good.

In the meantime, I will post things here that you may find interesting and/or informative.  If you would like to be notified with updates on my Virtual Breadwinner project let me know and I will put you on my personal mailing list.

Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you in world!
